M7 Dublin - Limerick

The Route
The M7 route of which the majority is motorway runs from Dublin to Limerick.
From the M50 it passes south of Clondalkin leaving the city as part of the Naas Road. At Newlands Cross it continues south bypassing, Saggart, Rathcoole, Kill & Johnstown. It then proceeds to bypass Naas, continuing to bypass Portlaoise and major towns such as, Roscrea and Nenagh. After the Nenagh bypass it continues, terminating at the Rosbrien Interchange to the south of Limerick City. The road then continues as the N18 into County Clare.
The Association
The Team at MOTORWAYCARE are very proud of its association with the Construction of this fabulous motorway route. The Team first became involved with this route in early 1997 by providing all safety barriers on the Naas Road Widening Scheme for Priority Construction. Over the following decade the team became heavily involved in providing all essential motorway products to all the major segments of this motorway construction. In particular our management team made tremendous cost savings for Main Contractors through their value-engineering of the noise barrier elements along this route. There were particular challenges involving narrow verge widths along the Nenagh bypass section that could not accommodate noise barrier construction, the team at MOTORWAYCARE provided unique steel pile foundations installed with custom built equipment, thus providing adequate anchorage for these essential products.
